The Morgantown Theatre Company

The Purpose

Sarah developed a comprehensive communications package for the Morgantown Theatre Company (MTC) to enhance their public outreach and community engagement. This initiative aimed to support MTC's mission of promoting the performing arts within the Morgantown community.​​

Tru Relations 

The Purpose

As part of her undergraduate capstone course, Sarah was selected for a prestigious program that involved working with real clients. Sarah's team, Tru Relations—a name and logo she created—was tasked with developing a strategic campaign for the CEPA Foundation. The foundation's goal was to increase study abroad enrollment among West Virginia University students for its programs in France and Germany.

The Components Created 

Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah's team maintained daily virtual meetings and consistent communication to develop a comprehensive campaign.

The Impact

Sarah's team’s dedication paid off when the CEPA Foundation selected their campaign over others. Sarah and her team collaborated with members from other groups to integrate various ideas, working with a 15-person team via Zoom to create a unified campaign. This experience showcased Sarah's ability to lead, innovate, and collaborate under challenging circumstances, demonstrating her commitment to effective communication and impactful results.

Girls On The Run 

The Purpose 

As part of a collaborative undergraduate project, Sarah Warner worked with a team to support Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls through running and personal development. The project focused on enhancing the experience of their signature 5K event by developing strategic communication materials tailored for participants, volunteers, and organizers.

The Components Created 

Sarah contributed to the creation of the following key deliverables:

  • Press Release: A professionally crafted announcement designed to generate media interest and increase awareness about the Girls on the Run 5K.

  • Volunteer Instruction Templates: Clear, concise, and visually engaging guides for event volunteers, ensuring streamlined operations and a positive experience for all attendees.
